Students want to know:

What do I need?

Whether you’re just starting out or can’t seem to make progress, all you need to get started is a mixing problem that you want to solve. Wherever you are, I’ll meet you there.

How does the workshop work?

After you book your workshop, we’ll book a phone/video call for an initial meeting. You’ll get to describe what you’re having trouble with, plus you can send me the mix you’re working on.

Then, I’ll listen to your work and design a set of lessons to give you advice on how to overcome that trouble. We’ll have another video call where I’ll walk you through solutions and best practices (you’ll get to keep a recording of the video call, too).

One-on-one workshops are a “fix your mix” opportunity. But they’re also more than that: if you are having general trouble with EQ, compression, effects, or any other mixing tools, our workshop can go in-depth on the help you need. I can show you how to mix for a specific genre, how to use a DAW, and how to set up your studio.

Can I get feedback on my mix?

Yes–the Workshop is intended as an opportunity for quick, effective help sessions. If you’re having trouble getting your mix to translate, managing the low-end, getting vocals to sit right–any aspect that eludes you–our workshop will demystify the problem and set you on a better path–one where those problems disappear.

I have a very specific topic I need help with. Can you help me?

Yes, definitely. When you book a meeting for a one-on-one workshop, we’ll talk through your problem–no matter what it is–and you’ll get the tools and strategies to help you become a better mixer.

What is the difference between the Workshop and the Program?

Think of the difference as between “short term” and “long term.” Workshops are an opportunity for quick mixing help, while the Program offers an in-depth, goal-oriented series that accelerates your complete mixing workflow.
